Always bathe after swimming to wash residual chemicals from the skin. Follow a regular preventative maintenance schedule to help eliminate costly repairs in the future. Keep pets out of the pool.  Pet hair and dander can clog filters creating more maintenance issues than normal.  If pets do swim, be sure to bathe them after swimming as well. Reduce your chemical use in the winter when cooler pool temperatures mean that bacteria is growing at a slower rate. Always remember to clean your pool on a regular basis.
