Given the constraints we were forced to deal with in our backyard, we could not have been happier with the results. Dear Randy, Deanna and Maegan:
We signed our contract for Pearland Pools to build our pool at our home on 9/15/2010 and our pool has been complete for just over 1 year.
I was going to write this review sooner, but I decided to wait until a year had passed to make sure of the quality of construction and service after the sale. Or maybe I was just lazy.
Anyway, the purpose of this letter is to describe our experience with Pearland Pools. My wife and I are mid 50’s and we have 4 grown children and 7 grandchildren. My wife is a nurse and I am a small business owner with experience in the construction and operation of real estate projects and restaurants. We previously had a pool built about 20 years ago. The reason I am giving you this information is to let you know we are experienced in business and building projects and are old enough to have had both good and bad experiences with building contractors.
We had definitely decided to build a pool and met with 4 or 5 pool contractors for ideas and quotes. At least 2 of the contractors were national pool contractors and the rest were local contractors. We live on Galveston Bay so the pool had to be stronger than normal. The last contractor we met with was Pearland Pools. After my wife and I met with Maegan, we looked at each other and knew we were going to hire Pearland Pools as long at the price was within the range of the other contractors. The reason is we could tell we could trust Pearland Pools. The company is family owned and operated and inspired nothing but trust which only increased with each meeting and each stage of the process. The price quoted was not the highest we received nor was it the lowest. However, I can assure you from personal experience that the pain of poor quality from a “bargain” price lasts long after the thrill of getting the lowest price fades. This is especially true on a big project such as a custom pool.
Randy, the owner, was amazing in his attention to detail. He did not come by the project each day, but he was there to line out each sub-contractor and insure they completed the job properly. The people working for Randy and Pearland Pools reflect the high degree of professionalism and attention to detail exhibited throughout the build. The quality of work exceeded all our expectations in each stage and in every detail.
After a full year of hard use by our large extended family I am very happy to report that we have had no problems with the pool and equipment. Pearland Pools absolutely overbuilt the pool and the equipment is more than adequate. I take care of the pool myself and therefore am very familiar with the equipment functionality and quality.
In summary, Pearland Pools totally exceeded all expectations and I have never been so impressed by the integrity and quality of any contractor for any project in my life!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the wonderful custom pool that your company crafted for our family. Being in the custom home building and service industries we understand the tireless amount of work that is consumed during a project. From our initial meeting with Maegan to the final pool school meeting we had with Randy it has been a very rewarding experience for us. You all have done an excellent job detailing out each phase of the construction project, what to expect ahead and what the end result would be as well as always being available to answer any questions that developed along the way. We appreciated all the suggestions and ideas based on your years of experience inthe pool building industry that came along with our partnership. It wa a great feeling to know that you would come back out and adjust each feature until it was exactly the way we had envisioned it to work in our minds.
Both Tamorra and I have and will continue to brad, show off and refer anyone considering or even thinking about building a pool to speak with your company first and foremost. We are second time pool owners and were a little reserved about building a second pool due to all the upkeep we had with our first pool. The system configuration combined with the salt water treatment has been a welcomed change from our first experience. Our pool stays very clean without an extended amount of attention required by us. The salt water has allowed our daughter with her skin condition to enjoy swimming repeatedly without any issues.
The greatest feature and one of the most commented details has been the custom spa with the 4 adjustable foot jets and the 4 individual massaging areas that were crafted to my wife's measurements. This has helped with her condition as well as I cannot say enough about how much we enjoy the spa. Everyone that gets into the spa always says the same thing when they get out: "I wish I would have known about that when I built my pool".
Should you ever need to show a future client a finished pool or they would like to speak with someone that has already done business with you, you are more than welcome to pass on our name and number and I will be happy to discuss the experience that we received from Pearland Pools. All 3 of you have gone well beyond the normal experience that we receive in today's construction market and I believe that is what will always set you apart from every other pool builder in the greater Houston market.
